My poor blog has been a little neglected over the past 2 weeks.
Love Our New Clients
We have had a rush of new clients and big projects going on. It’s very rewarding for us to help our client’s projects go well.
Be sure to check out our clients’ projects going on right now.
Many of you may have heard of a new collaboration between Darren Rowse from Problogger, Brian Clark from Copybloger, Chris Brogan of Brogan Media and co-author of Trust Agents, and Sonia Simone, from Remarkable Communication and Senior Editor at Copyblogger, called The Third Tribe. If you don’t know this team yet, you are missing out on a massive amount of great advice and information on internet marketing and business. Even though I get to hear their calls when I do their transcripts, I was excited to add this group to my list of forum memberships. I joined as soon as the email went out and was one of the first 500 members- but I was shocked to find out there are already 2,000 members two weeks later. There is a world of great information and discussions going on in the forums. The most difficult part of it for me is keeping myself from spending all day in the forums! And the forums are just a bonus to their seminar calls, transcripts and worksheets. Trust me, I’ve already heard Sonia and Chris Brogan’s interview that should be released today. 🙂
Another exciting event going on this week is Melissa Galt’s Ultimate Traffic Telesummit that started last week. The 14 experts on the lineup for this telesummit is quite impressive too. I have been surprised at how much I have learned from these first six calls. Even if you don’t purchase the recordings of the first calls, you don’t want to miss the last 8 calls. If you are a VIP for the group receiving your transcripts within 48 hours, you know we had some issues with a death in the family of one of my transcriptionists. I sincerely apologize for the lateness of your first transcript.
Problems Sometimes Turn Out for the Best
Of course as closely knit as my team is, we took it hard when one of our ladies has a family issue. It is very hard for me to see one of my transcriptionists in pain at the loss in her family.
Early last week, my desktop PC decided to take a vacation. My hard drive and motherboard stopped agreeing and I lost a few client files. So I’ve spent the last week, redoing two projects and setting up Mozy to automatically backup everyday. I think this is a change that will benefit my clients and my team much more than my manually backing up my system weekly.
Fun New Gadgets
I bought a Toshiba Satellite T135 laptop last week, so that I have a more reliable (and smaller) machine. I was running on an 17” widescreen machine that weighed 12 lbs! Since I am attending Bob The Teacher’s SIMPLE seminar in Wilmington, NC at the end of the month, my clients can be sure I will still be accessible (aside from the Blackberry fused to my hip.) Bob is also one of our favorite clients and I am excited to be meeting him for this opportunity to learn more from him. I’d love to see you there. Be sure to let me know if you are attending so I can make plans to meet with you.
If you have seen any of our transcripts recently, I would love to hear your feedback so we can improve our services.
Have a great week!
P.S. Be sure to comment to win a Plantronics .Audio 995 Wireless Headset in our business anniversary contest that ends next Monday. Be sure to sign up for our newsletter for updates on the contest.
**Note: I am an affiliate for Bob’s products. But as you can see, I am very familiar with the quality of his teachings.**
